Thanks for coming back for your weekly dose of high school football players with some seriously mature lexicons. Since this is the very last week of Sacked, we thought we wouldn't give away any hints about what happens.
Through all the emotional turmoil, fistfights, and shouting matches, one character in Sacked, our new SAT novel, is so stubborn and removed that he'd prefer to just sit back and watch TV than be encouraging.
Wanna take a guess who we're talking about?
In this chapter, Drew tries to fix the football team, but his most annoying antagonist insists the situation is irreparable.
Welcome back to Sacked! There are only three chapters left in our new SAT/ACT novel, and we're not sure how this epic tale of two rival high schools being forced to play in the same uniforms is going to turn out.
Every time we think Drew and his buddies have taken matters as far as they can go, something even more extreme happens. We're not gonna tell you what goes down in Chapter 11, but we think the pic gives a littttle bit of a clue...
Welcome back to Sacked, our new SAT/ACT novel that helps you improve your vocab while reading a pretty fantastic story about two rival high schools that merge, and the chaos that results on the football field.
If you've been keeping up with Sacked, all we can say is that Chapter 10 is a shoulder-dropper, in a good way. Finally, after chapters of tension, some relief is coming your way! We're so interested in the new relationships that are formed in this chapter, and we think it'll make for some verrry interesting dynamics the pages ahead...

Wow, we're more than halfway through unveiling our new SAT/ACT vocab novel, Sacked! If you haven't been reading Sacked, not to worry; you can catch up on all the chapters you missed here.
Those who have been keeping up with the story are on chapter eight this week. Chapter eight is prettyyyyy crazy. Action-packed. Shocking, even.
This week in Sacked, we get a glimpse of Drew's relationship with his older brother, Trey. Let's just say Trey isn't anything like Drew's dad, and it's nice to see what Drew's like when he's not ferociously defending his football abilities over family dinner, or calculating how to ruin things for the Corinth guys.
If you've been reading our SAT vocab novel, Sacked, you know there's been lots of pressure building. Two star quarterbacks are forced to share one team, and nobody knows who's going to start as QB at the first game. Plus, the rival teams are expected to get along and keep their dissatisfaction to themselves.
That kind of silent tension can only last so long. Somebody's got to say something. Somebody's got to snap.
We really love chapter four of Sacked because it takes us off the football field, and deeper into the mind of protagonist Drew Benson.
We're starting to learn that Drew's not perfect, but in his defense, his life is pretty tough—almost as tough as yours was before you had an easy way to study ACT and SAT vocab.
Welcome back to your weekly unveiling of Sacked, the SparkNotes SAT novel by Emma Harrison.
