Meet GRE Verbal
On test day, you’ll answer 30 Verbal questions in 30 minutes. The Verbal
section has a mix of Sentence Completions, Reading Comprehension, Antonyms, and
Analogies. Vocabulary and what the GRE calls “critical reading” play a key role
on the test. We will not only teach you how to “read critically,” but we’ll also
provide strategies and step methods that will improve your score on this
section. We’ve also provided a list of the tough vocabulary words found on the
test on a tear-out chart in this book.
