You’ll receive a Verbal score between 200 and 800. The computer will calculate your score as you proceed throughout the section, taking into account not only right and wrong answers but also the level of difficulty of each question you answer.
Since you cannot proceed to the next question until you answer the current one, you should always guess when you don’t know the answer. We’ll tell you how to guess smartly and avoid being caught by traps in the Verbal strategies section of this chapter.
