Gameplan
Gameplan
We want to maximize your score on the Logical Reasoning section, and we have created an effective gameplan to ensure that your study time is efficient and to allow you to approach each question with the best possible mindset. Here’s how we organized the chapter to guarantee that your test preparation is in fact useful:
  • X-ray of a Typical Logical Reasoning Question: First, we’ll get familiar with the basics of a typical Logical Reasoning question and its answer choices.
  • Essential Concepts: Six core concepts are presented next, as they are integral to mastering the Logical Reasoning section.
  • Essential Strategy: This is an important method for approaching all of the questions you’ll encounter in this section.
  • Question Types: There are 11 question types for this section, and we will go over every one and detail all the specific patterns, issues, and traps you could encounter on test day. We will then show you how to tailor the Essential Strategy, tackling each kind of question and working through examples of each with a specific “battleplan.”
  • The Real Deal:

NOTE: The “Real Deal” practice questions are not included in the online version of this book.

Finally, we will give you real LSAT practice questions so you can apply what you’ve learned to the full practice test, including the two full Logical Reasoning sections, at the end of this book.
Let’s get started.
