Gameplan
Gameplan
Once again we’ll follow a specific gameplan intended to maximize your study time. Here are the topics we’ll cover in this chapter:
  • X-ray of a Typical Logic Game: First we’ll take a look at what a logic game looks like so that we’re on the same page regarding terminology and the nature of your task. We’ll introduce the directions, the setup, the rules, and a typical Logic Games question.
  • Game Types: Each logic game generally falls into one of four basic game types. You’ll learn about these game types early on so that you’ll recognize them in the examples to come.
  • Essential Strategy: Next you’ll learn a general strategy to follow for every logic game you face. We’ll practice employing each step of this strategy with drills and exercises, which will sharpen your skills to tackle each game type.
  • The Real Deal: Finally, you’ll have a chance to test out all of your new knowledge and skills on four actual logic games from previous LSATs. When you’ve gotten everything out of those that you can, four more games await you in the practice test at the end of the book.
