Almost half of the 60 math questions on the SAT test basic arithmetic. The SAT does not cover all of arithmetic, however. In fact, the test covers only thirteen arithmetic topics, as you can see in the table of contents to the right. The SAT usually covers these 13 topics in very similar ways. Because the SAT is so focused in what it tests, we are too. We don’t cover arithmetic. We explain SAT arithmetic, covering only the topics the SAT will test and explaining how the SAT will test those topics.
