SAT Algebra
Almost a third of the questions on the math portion of the SAT deal with algebra. This news strikes fear into the hearts of many students who associate algebra with intense and difficult math. But take heart: the algebra tested on the SAT is not very difficult. The equations on the test are fairly simple, and the questions asked about particular topics of algebra are often quite similar.
In this section we will cover the seven major algebraic topics covered by the SAT: substitution, building expressions and equations, simplifying and manipulating expressions, solving linear equations, solving systems of equations, solving inequalities, and multiplying binomials and polynomials
Before covering these topics, however, we will address a question brought up by the teachings of some other test prep companies.
