We’ve said a few times already that when you study for the SAT, you aren’t really learning anything new. You’re refreshing your math skills, perhaps, but really, studying for the test often feels like studying material that is specifically designed not to apply to the rest of your life. Learning vocabulary is different. Clearly, sitting there with a list of words is not the most entertaining or exciting thing you could be doing. But it might help you to realize that studying vocabulary for the SAT expands the vocabulary you will use throughout your life.
