Coordinate Geometry Coordinate
geometry questions make up about 10 percent of the Math
IIC test. Many of the basic concepts in this chapter may be familiar
to you from plane geometry, but they have a twist: the coordinate
plane gives us different ways to analyze shapes and figures. There
are also a number of topics plane geometry doesn’t cover, such as ellipses,
hyperbolas, polar coordinates, the complex plane, vectors, and parametric
equations.
