Improving Paragraphs
The Improving
Paragraphs section of the test consists of
two essays. Each essay is accompanied by about six questions that
will test your ability to improve awkward sentence construction,
analyze individual sentences or the essay as a whole, and add sentences to
improve clarity or make transitions smoother. Occasionally, a question
will test your ability to combine two sentences into one.
On the test, the two Improving Paragraphs essays and their
accompanying questions are located after the Improving Sentences
questions and before the second group of Identifying Sentence Error
questions.
