Please Note:
The last administration of the SAT II Writing was on 1/22/05. Beginning 3/12/05, parts of the SAT II Writing test will be included in the New SAT. You should be studying the New SAT book. Go there! The Essays
The two Improving Paragraphs essays are not long. Both
essays usually contain three paragraphs. The test writers want the
essays to seem like drafts of student essays. This means that the
essays will not be difficult to read. For the most part, the essays
use simple sentence construction and a straightforward prose style.
This simplicity is good, because it means you won’t have to waste
a lot of time poring over the essays. The questions after the essay
will focus on the errors.
