Should not be used instead of could have.
Ungrammatical: We could of made the squad if we’d practiced our back handsprings more.

Should not be used instead of should have.
Ungrammatical: I guess I should of eaten something besides Twinkies.
Grammatical: I guess I should have eaten something besides Twinkies.
suppose to
Should not be used instead of supposed to.
UnGrammaticaL: Hey, Mom said you’re not suppose to eat the play-doh.
Grammatical: Hey, Mom said you’re not supposed to eat the play-doh.
use to
Should not be used instead of used to.
Ungrammatical: Marguerite use to do fifty pushups before breakfast.
grammatical: Marguerite used to do fifty pushups before breakfast.
would of
Should not be used instead of would have.
Unacceptable: Leo would of gone to the prom with Georgia if she’d asked him.
Better: Leo would have gone to the prom with Georgia if she’d asked him.
