Times of The Day
ante meridiem (before noon) a.m. post meridiem (after noon) p.m.
You can abbreviate ante meridiem and post meridiem either with lowercase letters and periods (a.m., p.m.) or with small caps (am, pm).
If you use a.m. or p.m., saying in the morning or in the evening is redundant.
