William Shakespeare accomplished many things in his 51 years. For instance, he wrote a bunch of really good plays. He was the first to use “elbow” as a verb. He made sure David Tennant (who has performed in Hamlet, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, and about a gazillion others) would never be unemployed.
The one thing Shakespeare didn’t do, however, was use an iPhone. He was born about four hundred years too early to lie awake at night scrolling idly through his Twitter feed, bothering people in the group chat with memes they’ve already seen and never having enough iCloud storage space.
But if he he hadn’t been? Well, here’s what that would probably look like.
