We don&#8217;t want you to feel like a squib for missing out on any of the spellbinding minutiae, s<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">o treat this post like Devil&#8217;s Snare and let yourself sink right into all the exciting deets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Who<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: J.K. Rowling teamed with writers Jack Thorne and John Tiffany to come up with the stage script. \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We started talking about ideas and her generosity in the way she listened to what was inside our heads, and then fed into that with her brilliant mind, was incredible,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pottermore.com\/features\/cursed-child-creatives-on-collaborating-with-jk-rowling\" target=\"_blank\">Tiffany said<\/a> \u00a0of the duo&#8217;s collaboration with the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HP <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">scribe. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apparently, Jo was adamant from the start that she wasn&#8217;t into seeing another prequel join the fold. (probably \u2018cause she&#8217;s working on her own such enchantment by way of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, hooray!) Otherwise, though, she was still the \u00a0super duper generous QUEEN we all know and love \u00a0and offered up her magical array of characters with an open mind and heart. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Jo&#8217;s awesome, a lovely lady,\u201d Thorne praised Rowling to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/theatre-dance\/features\/jack-thorne-interview-the-writer-on-operation-yewtree-and-transporting-harry-potter-to-the-west-end-a6884746.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Independent<\/a><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. &#8220;To even let someone else write a word that Harry says is an incredibly generous act.
