If you just spontaneously combusted like Fawkes, well, SAME. \u00a0We’ll give you a sec to \u00a0regroup.<\/p>\n

The eighth story that seemed to be as elusive as a snitch for almost a decade is suddenly apparating into our lives this<\/em> year, which means all the house points to YOU. We don’t want you to feel like a squib for missing out on any of the spellbinding minutiae, s<\/span>o treat this post like Devil’s Snare and let yourself sink right into all the exciting deets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who<\/b>: J.K. Rowling teamed with writers Jack Thorne and John Tiffany to come up with the stage script. \u201c<\/span>We started talking about ideas and her generosity in the way she listened to what was inside our heads, and then fed into that with her brilliant mind, was incredible,\u201d Tiffany said<\/a> \u00a0of the duo’s collaboration with the <\/span>HP <\/span><\/i>scribe. <\/span><\/p>\n

Apparently, Jo was adamant from the start that she wasn’t into seeing another prequel join the fold. (probably \u2018cause she’s working on her own such enchantment by way of <\/span>Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them<\/span><\/i>, hooray!) Otherwise, though, she was still the \u00a0super duper generous QUEEN we all know and love \u00a0and offered up her magical array of characters with an open mind and heart. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Jo’s awesome, a lovely lady,\u201d Thorne praised Rowling to <\/span>The Independent<\/a><\/span><\/i>. “To even let someone else write a word that Harry says is an incredibly generous act. She’s very trusting, and is prepared to say, ‘Nah, you’ve got it wrong.'” Taking up the mantle as she must<\/a>, we see!<\/span><\/p>\n

As for who’ll suit up in the fabled Gryffindor trio’s cloaks, actors Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni<\/a>, and Paul Thornley will become Harry, Hermione, and Ron<\/a>! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
