There aren’t that many good rom-coms without these qualities either. That’s what makes them so relatable and gosh darned addictive: we see ourselves (and our relationships) in them. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, we’d be willing to bet you’d find some serious similarities between what happened with your last ex in one or more of these rom-coms (unless you got broken up with via Post-It vis-\u00c3\u00a0-vis Carrie Bradshaw, in which case, WOW) So, let’s test that theory, shall we?<\/span><\/p>\n

            4. Anything outdoorsy. I mean, ALWAYS OUTSIDE.<\/span><\/li>\n

              1. A big dramatic argument in front of, like, everyone we knew. <\/span><\/li>\n
              2. I overheard something I shouldn’t have an ended it right then.<\/span><\/li>\n
              3. One of us moved away to another city. Shrug. <\/span><\/li>\n
              4. The power balance between us way off, so we parted ways amicably before it got really ugly. <\/span><\/li>\n
              5. The jerk cheated on me, so I kicked that mess to the curb.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Mostly 1s – How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days<\/em><\/b>: You and your ex had a precarious start. Many people thought it was a relationship built to fail because you were a pair of stubborn bulls, but over time you grew pretty close and found respect for each other. You had a fiery end and probably got back together again a few times before it was really all said and done.<\/span><\/p>\n

                Mostly 2s – Friends with Benefits<\/em><\/b>: You tried to keep it casual and fuss-free for the longest, but ultimately lurve was in the air between you two. One of you may have been way more into it than the other one, though, and feelings were hurt as a result. <\/span><\/p>\n

                Mostly 3s – Just Go With It<\/em><\/b>: You didn’t mean to fall in love, but you did, and it made for a really passionate, fun, exotic relationship\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 while it lasted. It was what it was.<\/span><\/p>\n

                Mostly 4s – The Proposal<\/em><\/b>: It took time for you and your former special someone to find that spark, but when you did it became fireworks between you. Unfortunately, there were still way too many differences between you to make it last. <\/span><\/p>\n

                Mostly 5s – He’s Just Not That Into You<\/em><\/b>: The drama! You guys tried to make it work. You really did. But as our girl Taylor Swift put it, \u201cband-aids don’t fix bullet holes,\u201d and there was definitely some bad blood brewing between you. That partnership was DOA. We’d wager you don’t even speak anymore.<\/span><\/p>\n
