It&#8217;s why Pudge&#8217;s memorizing of dying words in \u00a0<em>Looking for Alaska \u00a0<\/em>wasn&#8217;t as macabre as it could&#8217;ve been, and it&#8217;s why Lorelai Gilmore tried reading \u00a0<em>Swann&#8217;s Way \u00a0<\/em>in order to be able to start a sentence with \u00a0&#8220;as Proust would say.&#8221; (And to impress Max Medina, of course.)
