Maybe you&#8217;re one of the special ones\u2014you&#8217;ve read a handful and a <em>half<\/em>. The problem with Shakespeare is that some of his plays are quite good, some of them are terrible, and <em>all<\/em> of them are written in the unknowable mystery jargon known as Early Modern English (and in unrhymed iambic pentameter to boot. What a show-off). They&#8217;re also really, really long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s why we took each of his epic, richly told masterpieces and crammed them into a single sentence.
