(Sure, technically it meets all the sandwich criteria, but putting meat between two halves of bread does not a sandwich make.)<\/p>\n<p>Should you find yourself in the midst of a polarizing debate on the subject of hot dogs, politics, or skim milk (you&#8217;re either for it or you&#8217;re against it, there is no middle ground), here are some literary ways to break up the argument once and for all:<\/p>\n<p>1. &#8220;Keep the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sparknotes.com\/shakespeare\/henry4pt2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">peace<\/a> here, ho!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>2. &#8220;Ulysses, noble son of Laertes, stop this warful strife, or Jove will be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sparknotes.com\/lit\/odyssey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">angry<\/a> with you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>3. &#8220;I will take it! I will take the Ring to Mordor, though I do not <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sparknotes.com\/lit\/fellowship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">know<\/a> the way.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>4. &#8220;STOP THIS <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sparknotes.com\/lit\/a-game-of-thrones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MADNESS<\/a> IN THE NAME OF YOUR KING!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>5.
