I&#8217;m not saying you have to make some big romantic gesture, but you should probably put a little bit of effort into the whole deal so you&#8217;re not just shooting them a \u201cProm? You and me? How about it?\u201d text while you&#8217;re sitting on the toilet with your phone waiting for HQ trivia to start.<\/p>\n<p>So yeah, texting your promposal? Not the greatest idea in the world. (Like, it&#8217;s not \u201cattacking Russia in midwinter\u201d bad, but it&#8217;s up there.) Nevertheless, people do it.
