Of all the books you’ll have to read for school, Lord of the Flies<\/i> is probably one of the most accessible. It’s not the most fun<\/i>\u2014I’m not saying THAT\u2014but it’s a lot easier on the eyes than, say, Beowulf<\/i>, which is 3,000 lines of total and complete (but alliterative!) nonsense. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord of the Flies<\/i>, on the other hand, is written in normal English, its themes are pretty easy to grapple with, and I think we can all get on board with the premise, which is essentially \u201cWhat if some boys on an island started murdering each other?\u201d<\/p>\n

So Lord of the Flies<\/i> is, all things considered, a pretty good read. But maybe you don’t have that kind of time. Maybe you need to know what happens in Lord of the Flies<\/i>, and you need to know NOW.
