There are more iPhones now and fewer plagues, sure, but everything else has remained largely the same. For instance, it&#8217;s still very hot out. Also nobody is eating enough fiber, and England is being ruled by an Elizabeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My point: Shakespeare&#8217;s plays are just as relatable now as they were in the year 1602, so here are some quotes from things like <em>Hamlet<\/em>, <em>Romeo and Juliet<\/em>, and <em>King Lear<\/em> that describe what summer is like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When school is out so you no longer need to adhere to a schedule:<\/strong><br>&#8220;But, soft! what day is this?&#8221;<br>\u2014 <em>Romeo and Juliet<\/em>, Act 3, scene 4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When someone asks if you&#8217;ve got any big plans this summer:<\/strong><br>&#8220;I will eat and drink, and sleep.&#8221;<br>\u2014 <em>All&#8217;s Well That Ends Well<\/em>, Act 4, scene 3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When you text your friend to hang out and they don&#8217;t immediately text back:<\/strong><br>&#8220;What, are you busy, ho?&#8221;<br>\u2014 <em>Romeo and Juliet<\/em>, Act 4, scene 3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Whenever you&#8217;re outside doing anything at all:<\/strong><br>&#8220;[Aside].
