The characters of the book - Lysistrata, can also be seen as an allegorical work; each character being stereotypical.
Lysistrata - The force that always wants to maintain peace between all sides because she believes we all need each other in the end.
Kinesias - The one who easily surrenders to temptation.
The choruses - Indication that every man is still a child at heart (Refer to the seizure of the Akropolis by the women and the plan to regain it by the men), childish huh?
