Overview

Søren Kierkegaard (1813–1855) is a Danish theologian and philosopher. Kierkegaard’s work was mostly disparaged during his lifetime, but whose recognition grew throughout the 20th century, inspiring such thinkers as Wittgenstein, Heidegger, Kafka, Barth, Sartre, and Camus.
