Overview

Published in 2019, Taylor Jenkins Reid’s Daisy Jones & The Six is a work of fiction about the meteoric rise of the legendary 1970s rock band, Daisy Jones & the Six, and the romantic entanglements and bruised egos that lead to the band’s breakup. Told through fictionalized oral histories of the band members, their friends and families, and industry insiders, the novel explores a heady mix of substance abuse, artistic collaboration, and impossible love. It was adapted into an Amazon Prime miniseries by the same name and won the 2019 Goodreads Choice Award for Best Historical Fiction.
