Comparing and contrasting characters, events, and themes helps students discover larger truths in a text. Students will use this worksheet to track the progression of two marriages throughout The Great Gatsby: the marriage of Tom and Daisy Buchanan and the marriage of George and Myrtle Wilson. Students will then write about how the novel explores the theme of marriage.
