Overview
The Message is a 2024 nonfiction book by Ta-Nehisi Coates, based on his travels to Senegal, South Carolina, and Palestine
. While reflecting on experiences from his own past, Coates describes the conflicts in each region he visits and highlights the importance of journalism that tells the stories of such struggles.
