The Communist Manifesto

by: Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels

IV. Position of the Communists in Relation to the Various Existing Opposition Parties

1

The Communists fight for the attainment of the immediate aims, for the enforcement of the momentary interests of the working class; but in the movement of the present, they also represent and take care of the future of that movement.

2

In short, the Communists everywhere support every revolutionary movement against the existing social and political order of things.

3

Let the ruling classes tremble at a communistic revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. WORKINGMEN OF ALL COUNTRIES, UNITE!
