Overview

All epic literature features gods that meddle in the lives of mortals, for good and for bad. Students will use this worksheet to explore the ways in which Athena’s interventions impact actions, events, and characters in The Odyssey. Students will identify examples of four different types of Athena’s intervention and then use their completed chart to make inferences about the text.
