Overview
The Song of Achilles, published in 2011, is a novel by Madeline Miller that retells the story of the Greek hero Achilles from the perspective of his companion Patroclus
. The novel begins with Patroclus’s childhood and follows him through his exile, his time with Achilles in the court of King Peleus, and the events of the Trojan War.
