Overview

All people explore the concept of love in their lives, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or even the era in which people live. This worksheet helps students identify and understand the language of love in Shakespeare’s time and relate that language to their own experience today. Instruct students to record each word from the list in its correct category in the graphic organizer. Students can continue working throughout the reading of Othello. Students may work independently, in pairs, or as a class.
