The ACT Science
Science Reasoning Test is arguably
the most feared Subject Test, but for the wrong reasons. Time is
of the essence on the test: you are given 35 minutes to digest 7
science passages and answer 40 questions on them. But the content
of the Science Reasoning test, which is what usually fills students
with trepidation, shouldn’t cause you any stress. The term “Science
Reasoning” may sound impressive and difficult, but much of the intimidation
of the test is mere bluff—big words that disguise simple concepts.
In this chapter, you’ll learn everything you need to know to unmask
and master the ACT Science Reasoning Test.
