On the ACT Math Test, you are given 60 minutes to answer 60 questions. In terms of time allotted per question, the Math Test ranks the highest among the subject tests, averaging one minute per question. The drawback is that the Math Test is relatively difficult for most people. It tests you on knowledge that you’ve learned, not just intuited.

The Math Test covers the material taught in your middle school and high school math classes. Those classes covered a lot of ground, and in order to do well on this test, you have to have a good fundamental grasp of all those topics.
