If Candy Hearts Used Literary Quotes
Can you think of anything more romantic than receiving a box of candy hearts that taste like chalk and say things like “BE MINE” or “I HEART YOU” or “YOU ROCK”? I sure can’t!
Well, maybe I can. Just one, though: books. Books are definitively and objectively the be-all, end-all in romance. Reading them in coffee shops! Reading them near a windowsill on a rainy day! Reading them on public transportation and catching the eye of a handsome stranger who just so happens to be reading the same book! Can you stand it?
And if we were to take some of literature’s most celebrated quotes and stick ‘em on candy hearts? Now there’s a plan that can’t go wrong.
