9 Fictional High Schools, Ranked from Most to Least Accurate
What high school is like in fiction: FOOD FIGHTS EVERY DAY. THERE’S ONLY ONE CLASS, AND IT’S ENGLISH. NOBODY HAS PARENTS.
What high school is like in real life: you have six classes. Food fights are rare, but the tater tots are okay. You see your mom daily and even use her as an excuse as to why you can’t hang out with people. (Example: “Sorry guys, I can’t. My mom said no,” even though she said nothing of the sort, mostly because you never asked. You just want to eat Doritos and watch Hell’s Kitchen for multiple uninterrupted hours. Is that so wrong?)
If fictional high schools were realistic, they would be boring. I think we can all agree on this. That said, today we’ll be ranking fictional high schools in terms of accuracy, because some of these TV shows and movies are not even trying.
