As someone who loves Gothic novels, fringe science, refusing to take responsibility for my actions, and Switzerland, I think it will surprise virtually no one to learn that Frankenstein is one of my all-time favorite books.

I often wish I could re-read it, but (just as often) I find I simply don’t have the time. I’m a modern woman with friends and family and a Netflix queue and a dog, so re-reading a book I’ve already read twelve times isn’t exactly a top priority.
