Some fictional romances give us an ideal to aspire to—a reason to keep trudging through the depressing real-life swampland of bad Tinder dates and unanswered texts in the hopes that our very own Mr. Darcy is right around the corner, although I’m more of a Captain Wentworth girl myself. (There’s nothing sexier than a man who writes you a love letter and then immediately leaves the room. Change my mind.)
So some fictional relationships are very good. Wonderful, even. Others? Well, others are a cautionary tale of what happens when you have the audacity to hold another person’s hand. The following, as you can probably tell, are those relationships.
