Do you ever go back and read things you wrote when you were younger? I don’t, because I love myself. Honestly, I can imagine no greater torture than being forced to read my old journals from middle school. If I were a spy caught behind enemy lines, you wouldn’t need to resort to physical violence to get me talking—just whip out a certain Lisa Frank notebook from 2006 and I’d be yelling “Stop! Please! I’ll tell you everything!” before you could even finish reading the first sentence, which would undoubtedly be “Today Matt broke up with me via AIM away message. Will I ever learn to love again?”
