Every Shakespeare Play Summed Up in a Single Sentence

Shakespeare wrote a lot of plays. 37 of them, in fact, and that’s a conservative estimate. Dude just didn’t know when to quit.

Now, most people have probably read a handful of those. Maybe you’re one of the special ones—you’ve read a handful and a half. The problem with Shakespeare is that some of his plays are quite good, some of them are terrible, and all of them are written in the unknowable mystery jargon known as Early Modern English (and in unrhymed iambic pentameter to boot. What a show-off). They’re also really, really long.

That’s why we took each of his epic, richly told masterpieces and crammed them into a single sentence. No one was asking for this, but we did it anyway, and you can thank us later.
