Overview

In Pride and Prejudice, Austen details numerous marriages to reveal and develop the novel’s major themes. Students will use this worksheet to explore some of the specifics of marriage in the novel by comparing and contrasting various examples. Explain that students may not be able to include all the information about each couple. Some answers will be facts and others, inferences. When answering the two question prompts, students should consider all the information in their completed chart to draw conclusions.
