Overview

Twelfth Night has a full cast of characters who interact in romantic, poignant, conflicting, and humorous ways. Students will use this worksheet to track the characteristics and relationships of two main groups of characters—Viola, Olivia, Orsino, and Sebastian, and Maria, Sir Toby, Sir Andrew, and Malvolio. Pass out the worksheet before students begin to read the play. Students can complete it as they read. Alternatively, have students work in groups to complete the worksheet as a culminating or review activity.
