Overview

A chapter-by-chapter book map can help students understand how key scenes fit into the larger structure of a novel. Students will use this worksheet to study a book map that shows where the events in the novel take place. Students will then select a key scene from each section of the novel, summarize the scene, and write a short analysis of what the scene reveals.
