Overview

While Hero is a main character in Much Ado About Nothing, she lurks in the background and often remains silent while the drama takes place around her. Students will use this worksheet to uncover the truth about Hero’s personality and character by finding and analyzing relevant passages in the play. Once they have completed the chart, students will evaluate whether or not Hero’s failure to speak out and clear her name is in keeping with her character.
