Blogging the Classics
There are some things that simply must be done, like assigned reading, taxes, and sorting recycling. We can’t do anything about two of those, but the first one? Well, we can’t really do anything about that, either. What we CAN do is read a bunch of classic lit and have thoughts about it so that you’ll have eighty percent more to talk about during English class. Also so that we can talk about things like 1984 basically being a Coldplay music video and Jay Gatsby’s car probably symbolizing a phallus, and have them be socially acceptable.
