Overview

Analyzing how a character evolves over the course of a story can help students understand the character’s actions and motivations as well as character development in general. Students will use this worksheet to track Petruchio’s actions in every act of The Taming of the Shrew and to better understand his motivations for pursuing Katherine and how his motivations change. Pass out the worksheet before students begin to read the play so that they can complete the chart as they read.
