Overview

Being able to summarize objectively helps students quickly identify the basic facts of a story before analyzing it further. Students will use this worksheet to record answers to the questions Who? What? When? Where? and Why? for each section of Fahrenheit 451 as they read the novel. Remind students to remain objective in their answers to each question. If your class needs more support, pass out the sample response and review it together as a class, or complete the first chart together.
