Overview
Authors tell readers a lot about characters, not only through what the characters say and do, but also through the specific words used to describe them. Students will use this worksheet to record specific words, phrases, and comparisons that Bradbury uses to describe each character and to determine what those descriptions reveal about each character. Pass out the worksheet before students begin reading the novel. Have students complete the second column as they read, but wait until they have completed the text to fill in the third column.
