What happens in Act 5, Scene 2 of Hamlet?
Hamlet and Laertes duel. Laertes dies from the poison on his own sword. Gertrude dies after drinking the poisoned cup. Claudius dies after being stabbed by Hamlet and then drinking poison. Hamlet dies from the poison on Laertes’s sword. Prince Fortinbras takes control of the fractured state and declares that Hamlet will be buried with honor.
