Overview

Letters are used throughout Julius Caesar to encourage action, such as the false letters Cassius writes for Brutus or the letter Artemidorus writes to warn Caesar of his impending assassination. Students will use this worksheet to write a letter to Brutus that encourages him to act either with or against the conspirators. Pass out the worksheet after students have finished reading the text and be sure to remind them to include supporting textual evidence in their letters.
